DIEGO CAL
A native of Pordenone, Diego Cal graduated at Venice "Benedetto Marcello" Conservatory of Music in 1982. After a post-graduate scholarship with G. Bodanza and master classes at Nice with P. Thibaud, he was appeared as soloist in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Canada featuring in major international festivals (Toronto, Strasburg, Monchengladbach, Rome, Milan, among others).
He has been a soloist with well renowned international orchestras and with RAI Symphonic Orchestra with whom he has recordered for european broadcasting networks (RAI, Radio France, WDR, Diffusione Europea) and for Stradivarius label.
Mr. Cal has appeared as featured artist with Milan's "Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali" and with Angelicum Orchestra, inaugurating as soloist the 1993 season with the second Brandeburg Concerto by J. S. Bach.
Mr. Cal joined the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto in 1987.
